HydroMap: A Comprehensive Hydrant Management Application
HydroMap is a free Android application developed by Chris Bremer, designed to manage hydrant information in a SQLite database on mobile phones. The application allows users to view collected data on a Google Maps display, in either street or satellite view. The GPS function of the app is capable of instantly identifying the user's location and displaying the nearest hydrant or water source. Tapping on a hydrant displays detailed information about it.
One of the most significant features of HydroMap is its ability to synchronize the collected data with a database server, making it available to all other users who have access to the server. The application is designed to facilitate the sharing of information among its users.
